PRICING INFORMATION
Howard Keith Original Cloud Sofas by HK design
- We are pleased to offer two 1970’s Cloud Sofas and 1 original armchair & pouf for sale…
- The 1976 HK Cloud Sofa with powder blue velvet fabric can be bought in the original, very won condition as seen. We intend to restore this sofa and finish it with a fabric or leather of your choice. The sofa will be finished to the highest standard. Total £POA (GBP) price on application.
Restoration and reupholstery will incur an estimated cost of £6,000 inclusive of £2,000 fabric. Please note that any fabric cost over £2,000 will incur an extra fee. Any Italian leather will cost £9,000. - The 1971 HK Cloud Sofa in grey velvet can be bought in original condition as seen or restored to the highest of standard. Total £POA (GBP) price on application.

Any Italian leather will cost £9,000. - Please note. Both the powder blue velvet and grey velvet sofas require restoration and reupholstery.
- SOLD. We are delighted to have sold the velvet green & brown Howard Keith cloud sofa that has now undergone full restoration and was finished with beautiful cream white boucle wool mix fabric.
- SOLD. We are pleased to announce that the cinnamon red HK Cloud suite has been sold to collector of great British designed lounge furniture.
- All the materials used to restore the HK furniture comply with British & Europe fire retardant standard certificates.
- We prefer to sell complete 3 set suites, although we will consider selling HK sofas, chairs and poufs separately.
- A 10% discount is applied when you buy a complete HK cloud sofa, lounge chair and pouf.
Cloud Chair
- We currently have one vintage 1970’s cloud chair.
- The powder blue velvet Howard Keith Cloud Chair is awaiting restoration and any potential buyer can choose new fabric or purchase the chair finished in a fabric from our current range.
Large Cloud Armchair
- HK armchairs are offered fully restored for sale at a cost of £POA (GBP).
Additional cost may apply when new upholstery work is required, using new high-end brand name fabrics, leathers or suedes.
Pouf – Ottoman
- We have one original Howard Keith Pouf for sale.
- The large pouf for sale requires a full restoration, due to the fact that the original blue velvet fabric is very worn. We are considering a few options on what fabric to re-upholster this HK pouf with and are open to ideas should you have specific requirements. The cost of each Howard Keith 1970’s vintage Pouf is £POA (GBP).
Additional cost may apply on some designer fabrics and leathers or suedes. - All poufs can be custom finished with a wine or magazine store for an extra cost.
Restoration Costs
Please note. After buying a Cloud Sofa, Armchair or Pouf, there will be the extra cost for restoration. Not all these cost can be calculated until we have agreed on the fabric or leather hide that a customer chooses. The final cost will be confirmed before the furniture is bought, on a case by case basis. Restoration is not included. Extra costs will apply for unrestored furniture and can be discussed and the cost agreed upon as requested.

FABRICS INFORMATION
Contact us for links to our extensive fabric suppliers.
You can choose from our fabrics or send us a fabric of your choice, and we can upholster the furniture for you.
- Swatch samples are available upon request. Fabrics that we currently offer are: LINEN / BOUCLE WOOL / WOOLLY MOHAIR / MOHAIR VELVET / JACQUARD WOOL WEAVE / TWILL / VELOUR / ALCANTARA / LEATHER / SUEDE / FAUX FUR / SHETLAND SHEEP WOOL.
- Our limited edition samples can be posted out to you for free. If you order fabric samples internationally, additional costs will apply. Sample postage costs will be refunded if an order is placed.
- We offer a fabric consultancy service; providing the additional offer of a half day or full day personal trip to visit quality interior designer fabric shops. We can even visit you with fabric samples at your home, business premises or shop.

PAYMENT INFORMATION
Payments can be made in any currency via cash, bank transfer or via credit or debit cards.
All currencies other than GBP Pound Sterling may incur extra admin costs, due to exchange rates and transfer fees. The exchange rate that is agreed upon initial payment of furniture will be the same exchange rate for full and final payment.
Any currency that incurs fluctuations because of changes in foreign payments will be calculated at the cost in sterling (GBP) at time of purchase using official international bank rates. Fluctuation costs can still occur for shipping. If any tax, border tolls or any other cost are incurred and arise during transit and shipping of goods, the buyer/s will be duty bond and expected to pay ALL and EVERY extra cost incurred. This is part of the agreement/s contract you are agreeing to when buying any and all furniture.
Full payment is required to secure a sale unless it is agreed in writing to split the payment.
All furniture is sold as seen, so we highly recommend viewing before purchasing.
DELIVERY INFORMATION
Delivery Process & Payment Terms.
- Furniture orders that are in stock can be dispatched for delivery within 2 to 3 working days for UK mainland.
- For furniture that requires bespoke upholstery or full restoration work, orders will usually take 6 to 12 weeks to be dispatched. This applies to Sofas, Chairs & Poufs.
- Full payment will need to be taken at the point of order for all furniture order/s and courier/shipping fees, unless other arrangements have been agreed to pay a deposit. The final balance is payable on delivery of goods.
- For goods bought on a higher purchase paying by instalments, interest costs may apply.
Delivery and Manufacturing time of goods.
- 6 to 12 weeks delivery for original Cloud furniture that requires restoration and new upholstery.
- 6 to 12 weeks for the manufacture of new bespoke Retro Cloud Sofas, Chairs or Poufs.
- 1 to 2 weeks for furniture that is finished and in stock.
- We cannot guarantee the above timeframes for international shipping.
Where do we ship to?
- All restored furniture ‘in stock’ can be dispatched within 1-2 weeks of purchase in mainland UK. This does not apply to furniture that is unrestored. For Northern Ireland, Europe and Worldwide deliveries, orders can take from 6 to 8 to weeks to arrive at their destination.
- We offer free delivery within 100 miles radius from our Oxfordshire workshop. Deliveries over 100 miles radius from our workshop will incur an extra delivery fee of £3 per mile. Orders that cost over £10,000 are exempt of any courier and delivery fees within UK mainland only. Northern Island, Europe and Worldwide shipping fees apply and will be subject to additional delivery cost dependent on requirements.
Types of Delivery
- 5 STAR DELIVERY – recorded tracked – delivered, unpacked and placed in any accessible room by a reputable and insured shipping company at an agreed time & date, with furniture being insured for its value during transit only. Mobile phone tracking of drivers or drivers mate, provided 72 hours before delivery of goods. The cost of this service will be calculated on a job-by-job basis.
- 4 STAR DELIVERY – recorded tracked – delivered inside front door of home / premises. Time & date of delivery agreed. International service available which will be calculated on a job-by-job basis.
Terms and Conditions.
All COST of deliveries will need to be PAID in FULL before any items are shipped. Any currency that incurs fluctuations because of changes in foreign payments will be calculated at the cost in sterling (GBP) at time of purchase using official international bank rates. Fluctuation costs can still occur for shipping. If any tax, border tolls or any other cost are incurred and arise during transit and shipping of goods, the buyer/s will be duty bond and expected to pay ALL and EVERY extra cost incurred. Please Note.
Delivery date can be agreed upon at the time of purchase. We take full payment on order. Full payment will be expected before you receive goods. All delivery services need to be signed for at the specified delivery drop off address. Any unusual or difficult delivery locations must be explained prior to entering into delivery contract. Delivery of this kind may incur extra cost or extended delivery time.
Insurance and guarantee?
All furniture bought has a 10 year frame guarantee. The Cloud Sofa or Suite and the Retro Cloud Sofa, Chair or Poufs are fully guaranteed to arrive in the condition that they leave our warehouse (the condition will be described within the listing as new or vintage). All items are insured in transit to your destination of choice. Once we leave the furniture at it’s agreed drop off point, the upkeep of the furniture becomes the responsibility of you, the customer and new owner. This applies after the order has arrived at it’s destination and all fees are paid in full. The buyer’s property will no longer have any insurance. Insurance is only valid in transit.
