We specialise in sympathetically restoring vintage furniture. Our team of ‘Artisan’ master furniture makers would love nothing more than to totally renovate your very own Howard Keith 1970’s Cloud Sofa, or any other funky brand!
If you own a Howard Keith cloud sofa or another type of lounge suite from the 1960’s, 70’s or 80’s, we want to rescue it and bring it back to it’s former glory! It does not matter what condition the furniture is in or whether they are upholstered in leather or fabric; we re-upholster them all!
As well as undertaking re-upholstery, we make new and bespoke furniture. Our new furniture recreates the look of the iconic 1970’s Howard Keith Cloud lounge furniture range.
With originals of the Howard Keith Cloud Sofa now almost impossible to find for sale in good order, we have created The retro cloud sofa-chair & pouf. The new retro cloud sofas have all the pizazz of the 1970’s original cloud sofa, but they are made to order right here in England! All furniture can be designed to suit today’s lifestyle, with the extra convenience for businesses and home makers to choose their very own refinements like bespoke fabric or leather upholstery.
We also buy furniture. If you have 20th century sofas or a complete suite that you would like to sell, we are interested in purchasing these items in any condition. We will then lovingly restore them and find them a new home – the perfect way to celebrate the John Home designed cloud sofa and share it with others!

We are absolutely delighted to have recently restored one of our original Howard Keith Cloud Sofas. We removed the original brown and green velvet fabric, before restoring the soft foam padding and re-upholstered the sofa with a beautiful cream boucle wool. We believe that simplicity is key when it comes to the Cloud Sofas and the white boucle fabric adds an elegant touch to what is already a fantastic design. You can see just how perfectly restored the Sofa is in the images below.
